Who are the sons and who are the hirelings?

In Matthew 5:9 Jesus declared that the peacemakers are 'blessed for they shall be called sons of God.' In this context Paul said that the creation 'eagerly awaits the revealing of the peacemakers; God's sons.'

It might come across as self-righteous and even pompous, but we know who we are because of the blessed knowledge He gave us. This knowledge does not originate in the earth's physical self, but in the spiritual eternal realm of the Creator. Once we find the truth about ourselves we will also stop wondering as to who we are, where from were came; and to where we are going.
