About us
Sons & Hirelings
Who are the sons and who are the hirelings?
God's sons are also on this earth, but the difference between them and Jesus is that Jesus is called the Firstborn. We are those who come to the Father through the Firstborn Son who paid the necessary and required by law price, which we do not need to pay for He did it once and for all.
The world is divided into at least three groups of people who identify with either just the earth, a mixture of both or with God's Eternal Kingdom.
Jesus is the firstborn Son of God and He made us aware who we are. He said that 'by our fruits we are known.' (Matthew 7:20-22). Hirelings do not work for free, but for rewards or wages. The Kingdom belongs to the sons and they inherit everything; and because of this fact they may be slow doing what they supposed to. Therefore God hires hands, but the results are not the same.
The hirelings do what they have been hired to do and they make sure that they also fleece the sheep they have been hired to tend. They also pick enough of grapes for themselves. Their rewards are their wages and whatever they can get away with. And, if they seek fame then they get that too. Practically they can get anything they want right here on this planet for that is their reward. Their agenda is the earthly success. They study blessings and curses and use well-sounding words in order to achieve success. Marketing. Always selling and never buying. They often create insecurity in order to provide the follower with their own brand of security. The list is long. They tell the followers to understand, but they have no clue even what they say for what they say they hardly practice themselves.
Sons are no hirelings. They are God's children, which they always have been. Their motives differ from those of the hirelings' they are motivated by God's mercy and His love rather than wages.
When Jesus spoke of the Vineyard laborers He also spoke of its owner the Son. The parable was for us to understand the difference. Usually, when He gives understanding that understanding lacks the possibility of alternate interpretations. The way it was given is the way it supposed to be understood; monolithic and consistent in logic and clarity. The Bible calls it the Truth. Those who are of the Truth; get it, but those who are not often twist the truth in order to suit their own brand of theology.
Hirelings have something of their own - so they think. The sons have nothing of their own for their identity points toward the Father.
Apostle Paul said to Timothy (1 Timothy 5:18) that the laborer is worthy of his wages.
