In his own words A short testimony about me I started my music ministry about 14 years ago. I never studied music. Jesus was my teacher. I have a desire to learn more, but to find a music teacher in my town is almost impossible. So I taught myself to play by ear after hearing many Christian songs. |

I dedicated my life only to Christian music. Why I say this? - Perhaps I am the first person to do that. People play private together with the Christian music. I have dedicated myself to Him and God powerfully uses me. I, and my team, used to play in big crusades and also in very poor villages. I have become the role model for many pastors and the youth; and because I am disabled in my body I serve the Lord with all of my heart and passion.
Many pastors told me that I am doing a great job for the Lord. We don't see much zeal around here, but perhaps because of my handicap, more than others, I am more committed to the service of the lord and the work will not be in vain. They say that God will surly bless me.
After obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in arts I came to Vijayawada. I was serving in a church there. I served for 2 year without pay. But selfishness seemed to gain the upper hand in that. As that pastor's children were growing up and I taught them music they also took advantage of my sincerity and sacrifice. I suppose that such things happen because of jealousy caused by fear flossing a leadership position. After seeing another man's talents and anointing and influence on other that fear expresses itself in many ways. Because of my influence on the youth, my leadership and administrative skills jealousy played a role. False gossip about me was being spread all around and we ran into problems. I have faced many problems by doing good. After one year the pastor realized that I am a truly committed servant of God and that's when he apologized in front of the entire congregation. This happened right before your arrival.
Because of these problems and also for the ministry in the Prakasam District, for many days I cried at the feet of the Lord.
After one week, before you and your team arrived in India I had a dream.
I was somewhere on the seacoast. From the distance a man with a rod in his hand and a horn full of oil in his other walked toward me. With much power and glory his eyes were shining like the sun. He came near to me and poured that oil on my head and he prayed for me and then I heard a voice that I should carry (uphold) the burden of the evangelization of India. The man had then disappeared. Shortly after this dream you (Joseph Luxum) have visited us. I feel that it is the perfect will of the Lord.
